Gatwick handled more than 32 million passengers and 36,000 tonnes of cargo in 2022.
Its broad range of global destinations, around 200 in total, make it a popular choice for travellers.
Gatwick is progressing its long-term masterplan, which aims to boost operational resilience and economic growth over the next 15 years. Its plan to bring its Northern Runway into routine operational use could enable Gatwick to handle up to 75 million passengers and over 300,000 tonnes of cargo by 2038.
AIPUT is one of the top five landowners around Gatwick airport. Our portfolio of 230,000 sq ft provides a range of flexible and secure warehouse space to serve both the airport and the growing local population.
We have assets both adjacent to the airport’s main runway and located within the Manor Royal, the largest business district in the south-east of England. More than 600 businesses are based here, attracted by its excellent transport links, skilled workforce, and growing population. It’s estimated more than 5,000 homes could be built in this area over the next 10 years. We are working closely with local stakeholders to design a new range of logistics assets to cater for this next phase of economic growth.
